Law of Business Associations

The training course on Business Associations will first examine the basic features of business forms that are widely used in contemporaneous business world. These forms include primarily sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited partnerships, corporations, etc. We will look at the various rules governing each of these forms of business, including their formation and the termination of their existence through dissolution and liquidation. Then we will examine the different roles of officers (directors and other officers) and bodies within such entities. The issue of the liability of the stakeholders will be addressed separately. Much attention will be paid to important establishing and other corporate documents, too. We also talk about the various types of corporate expansion, namely mergers, consolidations, purchase of assets or the acquisition of controlling interest in other businesses. In today's world, unfortunately, we have to discuss the prohibition against deceptive, unfair and manipulative practices, especially in the light of some recent events.
